Dr. Carmen Castilla’s abstract discussing the use of NB-UVB phototherapy beyond dermatology was accepted by the World Congress of Dermatology. Dr. Castilla’s presentation of “Expanding Photo-immunology into COVID – a Randomized Control Trial” presented the substantial and significant systemic inflammatory response uncovered in the “Photo-Protection Trial (NB-UVB vs. Placebo) in High-risk Hospitalized COVID-19 Patients.” The World Congress convened in Singapore from July 3-8, 2023.
